Xist Music Signs N.F. to An Exclusive Recording Agreement

The Elite Agency Signs Rapper to An Exclusive Booking Agreement;

Co-Headlines The Amazed Tour With Everyday Sunday

ATLANTA–Xist Music announces the signing of Michigan native hip hop artist, Nate Feuerstein (pronounced Fire-stīne) also known as N.F. to a recording contract. He joins The Ambassador, Da’ T.R.U.T.H., Andalé, Jahaziel, Yaves, and Xist label president and vocalist, Sean Simmonds to the roster. Xist will produce an EP titled “I’m Free” which is set to release April 24th. “This kid is serious”, says T. Black, CEO of Xist Music. “It’s very exciting to see the material he’s putting out.” Simmonds, who is featured on the song, “Alone” says “We want the world to hear why we are so excited about N.F.”

N.F. has also secured an exclusive booking agreement with The Elite Agency. As one of the premiere companies in the Christian Contemporary Music industry, Elite represents some of the biggest names in the genre such as Switchfoot, Plumb and Brian “Head” Welch, in addition to a host of NFL players and coaches, and WWE wrestlers. “I was instantly impressed with Nate from the moment I hit play the first time,” says Mark Claassen, Owner/Agent. “He has a relevant sound and message that crosses cultural boundaries, in a good way! N.F. first impressed music lovers when the high school student competed at the 2008 Fine Arts Festival and placed 1^st in the Rap category for the state of Michigan and placed 2^nd nationwide in 2009. “I’m happy to now officially be a part of Xist Music. I look forward to working with them and standing by artists I’ve listened to long before I ever started my own thing,” says N.F. His real-life experiences are a catalyst that flows through every part of his music, and plays a huge role in the passion delivered in his musical expression.

He also possesses the rare talent of freestyling— when rap lyrics are improvised a cappella or with instrumental beats, i.e. performed with no previously composed lyrics, or “off the top of the head”. His lyrics, often inspired from a not so happy childhood, are based on understanding life’s challenges, struggles and solutions rooted in Jesus Christ and scripture.

Xist Music Signs Yaves

ATLANTA–Xist Music announces the signing of Columbus, Ohio native Yaves to a recording contract. His mixtape, “History in Progress”, to be released April 15th, will be the first of a series of mixtapes available as free downloads through various online outlets including XistMusic.com. His full length, debut CD on Xist Music is scheduled to release in 2013.

Yaves (pronounced yah-viss) is not only a street pastor but has a formal theology background. He balances his informal “life education” with a formal education from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Yaves is currently working on a Masters degree in Theology as well as continuing to educate the masses about life, Christ and hope, in song.

Yaves Ellis attracted the attention of Xist Music with his ministry-minded focus, business savvy and unique style of mixtapes (25,000 downloads) of his Sling Shot Media Group releases including “Prince Among Thieves” Vol. 1 & 2 and “In Summer’s Ear”. Founded in 2008, the collective of service-oriented music street ministers called the Slingshot Clique has effected social change throughout the Columbus area.

Yaves is also the youngest person to ever hold the title of Public Affairs Director in the 70+ station Radio One conglomerate. And in between ministerial and corporate endeavors he finds time connect with some of his fellow Ohio State U Alumni business partners to run their high-end urban street fashion boutique, Soleclassics.
